We are nearing the end of out Spring shipping season. We have had a phenomenal season, and wish to thank all those that ordered from us for your patronage. Currently we are sold out of a majority of what is listed on the website, particularily in the evergreen and fruit tree departments. We are just a short drive from the Eau Claire/Black River Falls/Marshfield area and about 2 hours from Minneapolis, MN. Also, we are now taking pre-orders for Spring 2011, so if you missed getting your trees this year you can guarantee you will get them next year by ordering now.
Blue Crop - Zone 3-7, Mid season bearer, consistent producer, disease resistant and high quality. Very large berries, good flavor, best when fresh, freezes well. Grows 4-6'.
Blue Ray - Zone 3-7, Mid season producer, high quality powder blue berries excellent for dessert. Burgundy foliage in fall. Upright growing habit to 5' high.
Jersey - Zone 3-7, It's a favorite of home gardeners, easy to grow. Ripens later, small to medium berries very sweet in flavor. Excellent for baking, reliable producer year after year. Grows 4-5' tall.
Northland- Zone 4-7, This blueberry is a hybrid growing only 3-4' with very limber branches. Fruit is medium to small having excellent wild berry flavor, great for pies and eating.
Patriot - Zone 3-7, Ripens early with tight clusters of very large berries. Excellent flavor for fresh eating or deserts. High producer with green foliage in summer, fiery orange in fall. Grows 4-6' tall.
Spartan - Zone 3-7, A vigorous and upright growing habit. Well adapted for machine harvesting. Fruit is firm, light blue, large and very good flavor. It is an early variety, ripening about mid July. It has the largest berries of all varieties.
NOTE: TWO
OR MORE BLUEBERRY VARIETIES MUST BE PLANTED FOR PROPER POLLINATION AND PRODUCTION.
Blueberries prefer an acid soil. Peat moss and aluminum sulfate boost soil acidity.
