Considered by many to be the world's oldest living plants, cycads have been arounds since the Jurrassic age, over 250 million years ago. So old in fact that they utilize the wind to pollinate them, unlike most other flowering plants. There are over 300 species of cycads, many native and unique to different areas of the world. As cycads are either grown from seed or division of pups and tend to be slow growing, we will be offering cycads on a limited basis. These are currently being grown by my two sons in Central Florida and will be shipped from there. We do not have any inventory at our local nursery.
To order any of these plants, cimply click "Add to Cart", and when done follow the check out directions.

Cycas revoluta: Originating in Far East, also known as the King Sago. A very popular and highly ornamental cycad, very adaptable to growing indoors or outdoors, potted or in the ground. Cold hardy to about 15 degrees farenheit, this will add that "tropical" look to any landscape. Extremely long lived, would also make an excellent heirloom plant. The seedlings we are offering are 3-5 year old seedlings growing in 1 gal pots priced at $12.00 each. |
