Hyrbid poplar trees are one of the fastest growing trees on Earth. Next to bamboo, I havn't seen many plants experience such rapid growth as these. On average most will experience up to 10 feet of growth per year, providing rapid shade or wind breaks within just a few years. This rapid renewable resource is slowly growing in demand and we often sell out of these fast. A deciduous tree that grows in zones 2 to 10, we carry several varieties for you to choose from. However, probably the most popular and widely used hybrid poplar is Populus carolina (DN-34 clone), also known as Imperial Carolina or Carolina Poplar.
