Alexander MacKenzie - Zone 3 to 7. This recurring Explorer red rose opens from deep raspberry red buds in sprays of 6 to 12 blooms. Flowers are 2-3" in diameter, 45 petals with raspberry aroma. Grows to 5-6 feet.

Bonica - An everblooming rose developing clusters of up to 20 medium pink, fragrant flowers on arching canes from spring until frost. Full 3" blooms produce orange hips to provide additional interest in fall. Growing height of 3-5 feet.

Champlain - Zone 3 to 7. This ever blooming Explorer rose boasts profuse clusters of dark red velvety blooms with a fresh light scent. Flowers from Spring to hardest frost, develops orange hips and grows to 3 feet tall. Insect and disease resistant.

Chuckles - Zone 4 to 7. This beautiful rose has deep rose pink flowers with white eyes that cover the plant all season long. Growing as little as 2 feet tall this rose would be an excellent choice for a rock garden.

David Thompson - Zone 3-7. A rugosa hybrid with double pink 2.5-3" blooms, it is one of the most fragrant roses in the Explorer series. A very hardy rose, it blooms freely throught the summer. Very disease resistant with few thorns along its stems, this shrub rose grows to a height of 3-4'.

Golden Wings - Zone 3-7. With height & spread of 3-4', large, single, clear-yellow sweetly scented flowers bloom from spring to fall. Having vigorous, upright growth habit, leaves are glossy and it is disease resistant. Does well in poor soils and thrives in areas with extreme temperatures. An excellent hedge selection.

Grootendorst Suprene - Zone 4-7. Deep crimson 1" double flowers occur in numerous sprays with delicately fringed petals that are reminiscent of small carnations. Borne on thorny canes, the abundance of near continuous blooming is a major feature.

Hansa - Zone 3 to 7. This large, double, sweetly fragrant purple red rose will continue to bloom from spring until fall, growing 4 to 6 feet tall.

Henry Kelsey - Zone 3-7. Long, limber canes of this Explorer Series rose make it a perfect climber. The disease resistant foliage is dark glossy green tinted with burgundy to compliment large clusters of 3-4" vivid red flowers and rich spicy fragrance. This recurrent bloomer produces small orange hips at seasons end adding to its attraction.

J.P. Connell - Zone 3 to 7. The first yellow Explorer shrub rose, it becomes more prolific and richly colored with each passing season. Lemon yellow blooms 2 to 3 inches in diameter with gold stamens fill the air with a rich fragrance. Grows 3-5 feet tall.

Magnifica - Zone 4 to 7. Large fragrant double carmine red flowers continuously blooms throughout the summer, growing 4 to 6 feet tall.

Mordan Fireglow - Zone 2-7. A low shrub rose growing only 18-24" high, develops clusters of 3" scarlet-red blooms that are recurrent throughout summer. A hardy Parkland Series rose with moderate resistance to black spot and mildew.

Mordan Rudy - Zone 3 to 7. The 2.5-3.5 inch blooms of this Parkland series shrub rose fluch heavy in Spring and reoccur until season's end. Long lasting flowers in striking colors from deep pink to ruby red followed by small orange hips. Grows 2-3 feet tall.

Morden Sunrise - Zone 3 to 7. This Parkland rose will out shine the best with its orange-yellow buds that change to fragrant, orange blended blooms and will do so from June until September. Semi double 2.5-3 inch flowers. Grows 2 to 3 feet tall.

Nearly Wild - With low growth of 2-3' with great disease resistance, this non-stop bloomer is an ideal landscape rose. The elegant, pointed buds open to single medium pink 3.5" flowers that are beautiful in their simplicity. Blooms are sweetly scented and held above foliage tinted just slightly with red.

Prairie Joy - Zone 2 to 7. This recurrent bloomer will produce deep pink buds that will open to fragrant medium pink flowers, growing about 5 feet tall.

Purple Pavement - Zone 3 to 7. This recurrent bloomer will grow only 3 feet tall and produce large clusters of semi-double 2 1/2 - 3 inch purple crimson flowers.

Royal Bonica - Zone 4 to 7. This Buck Rose will produce medium pink, fragrant flowers on arching canes. Will continue to bloom from spring until frost, growing 3 to 5 feet tall.

Seven Sisters - Zone 4-7. This favorite has clusters of small, fragrant flowers that mature through a series of distinct color changes ranging from creamy white, blush pink and shades of red to purple. It gives the appearance of many different roses within the same cluster. Autumn brings clusters of tiny red hips on vigorous canes.

Snow Pavement - Zone 3-7. This fragrant pink bud rose opens to a semi-double white flower blushed with pink. A rugosa hybrid, growing to 2.5 - 3 ft. tall.

Theresa Bugnet - Zone 3-7. A hardy Rugosa type hybrid sporting large double reddish pink flowers throughout summer until frost. Grows 5-6' tall. Another Morden indroduction.

Topaz Jewel - Zone 4 to 7. This sweetly scented yellow flowered rose produces in clusters of 5 to 10. Bushy shrub with arching branches will grow 5 feet tall to 7 feet wide. This rose will bloom throughout the season.

Winnipeg Parks - Zone 3 to 7. A Parkland series rose, flowers are stunning deep pink to a rich red. Everblooming Spring to frost on attractive green foliage with reddish-purple tints. This is one of our favorites growing only 2-3 feet tall.
