We are nearing the end of out Spring shipping season. We have had a phenomenal season, and wish to thank all those that ordered from us for your patronage. Currently we are sold out of a majority of what is listed on the website, particularily in the evergreen and fruit tree departments. Spirea Shrubs

Due to weak sales, our Flowering Shrub section has been eliminated.

NOTE ON SPIREA: Most spirea work well in almost any situation. That is for hedges, ornamentals and foundation plantings inter-mixed with a wide variety of flowering shrubs or evergreens. Most will have intermittent blooms after the primary blooming period. Because of a wide selection in both flower and foliage colors, they are truly an excellent addition to any landscape.

Spirea, Anthony Waterer: (Spiraea x bumalda 'Anthony Waterer') Grows 2-3' tall. Blooms for long periods with rose-pink flowers in June and July. Foliage is bluish-green, turning to reddish-purple in fall. Prefers full sun.

Spirea, Bridalwreath: (Spiraea prunifolia) An old time favorite, growing 6-9' tall. Blooms abundantly in early spring with double white flowers on arching branches. Foliage is deep blue-green. Does well in full or partial sun.

Spirea, Crimson Glory: (Spiraea x bumalda 'Coccinea') Also known as Dwarf Red Flowering spirea, it grows to 2-3'. Small leafed shrub has persistent rich crimson flowers, blue-green foliage. Does well in full or partial sun.

Spirea, Goldflame: (Spiraea x bumalda 'Goldflame') Grows to 2-3'. Unique bright gold foliage in spring turning to green in summer, bronze in fall. Clusters of persistent light crimson flowers in summer. Prefers full sun.

Spirea, Goldmound: (Spiraea x 'Goldmound') Low growing, 18-24". A bushy plant blooming with pink flowers in June and July. Foliage is creamy yellow turning to pinkish-red in fall. Prefers full sun.

Spirea, Little Princess: (Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess') A dwarf shrub growing a foot wider than it's 18-24" height. Delicate flowers in summer. Mint green small leaf foliage in summer turning dark red in fall.

Spirea, Shirobori: (Spiraea japonica 'Shirobora') This unique plant displays an combination of white and pink flowers, re-blooming throughout summer if spent flowers are removed. An impressive shrub for foundation plantings growing to only 18-24".

Spirea, Snowmound: (Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound') An excellent dwarf shrub growing only 3-4' tall. Dense dark green foliage, pure white flower clusters blooming in late May.

Spirea, Neon Flash: (Spiraea japonica 'Neon Flash') A newer cultivar with vigorous growth habit. Growing 3' high and wide, it becomes covered with bright red flowers clusters that persist through the growing season. New growth has purplish tinge.
