We are nearing the end of out Spring shipping season. We have had a phenomenal season, and wish to thank all those that ordered from us for your patronage. Currently we are sold out of a majority of what is listed on the website, particularily in the evergreen and fruit tree departments. Earliglow:
Many consider this variety to be the
best flavored berry of all. It is the earliest producing with size decreasing
as the season progresses. Widely planted in the Midwest and Northeast
due to its fantastic flavor.
Honeoye: This June bearer is considered by many as the best tasting strawberries ever produced. Heavy yield of conical shaped, firm, juicy berries of good size. Excellent disease resistance and self pollinating.
Ozark Beauty: Perhaps the finest of everberring strawberries. Produces large, uniform berries with honeysweet flavor. Rich red color throughout. Excellent for fresh eating, freezing and desserts of all types.
Quinalt: An everbearing variety that begins producing fruit 4 to 5 weeks after planting on unrooted runners. Excellent in hanging baskets, for ground cover or border plantings. Produces tasty berries of medium size. Not Available for Spring 2010
Red Chief: One of the oldest commercially grown strawberries, it is still considered one of the best June bearers. Produces medium to large berries of very good quality and flavor. Excellent for freezing.
Surecrop: ***SOLD OUT*** This strawberry lives up to its name. A favorite with home gardeners because of it's vigorous growth habits make it easy to grow and produces good crops in almost any type soil. Good firm solid fruit make it excellent for fresh eating or the freezer.
Tri-Star: An everbearing variety producing medium size berries of the highest quality even in the first year. Excellent sweet flavor with red color throughout. Produces heavy in Spring, light in Summer and a good yield in the Fall.
